Why the numbers are right

Etsy's 6.5% transaction fee and its 3% + $0.25 processing fee are calculated on two different bases — one excludes US sales tax, the other includes it. This workbook models them separately. Offsite Ads are handled properly too: 15% under $10,000 in a rolling year, 12% and no longer optional above it, capped at $100 per order.
