Etsy Listing Health Auditor

Most Etsy listing advice is folklore. Somebody's cousin ranked once, wrote it down, and it got repeated for four years.

This workbook does the boring thing instead: every rule in it is traced to a named Etsy page, with the date that page was published or last updated. Where Etsy is silent, the sheet says so and scores the item as guidance rather than pretending it is a rule.

How it works

Answer twenty-two yes/no questions about one listing. You get a score out of 100 and a ranked list of what to fix first — the highest-value change at the top, not the easiest one.

The one thing most shops get wrong

Price, discounts and sale badges are not organic ranking factors. They are absent from Etsy's own ranking disclosure. A sale badge can help indirectly, by lifting clicks — but if it does not change buyer behaviour, it buys nothing at all. Plenty of shops run a permanent sale expecting a ranking effect that was never there.

Who this is not for

If your listings already score in the 90s, this will tell you so and little else. It is most useful on a shop that has grown past twenty listings without anyone going back to check the early ones.
