Payhip's default licence gives your buyer personal, non-commercial use only
If you sell commercial-use SVG, embroidery or POD design files on Payhip, its standard buyer licence may contradict what you think you are selling. Checked 9 August 2026.
This one is quiet, old, and affects a lot of sellers who have never read it.
What it says
Payhip's End User Licence — the default terms your buyer gets when they buy from you — describes the licence as:
provided solely for their own personal (i.e. non-commercial) use.

Why it matters
Think about what most digital sellers in our world actually sell:
