The one-lamp doctrine (for building your own mockup scenes/photos): The setup: one large window, product table at 45° to it, white foam-board reflector opposite (a $3 bounce that halves shadows). No window? One warm LED panel through a white sheet = the same soft source. The rules that read 'professional':

ONE light source direction (mixed sources = amateur tell #1)
Soft over hard: bigger/closer/diffused source = gentler shadows = premium feel
Warm white balance (the cozy-brand look lives at ~3500-4500K;
